Ujung Kulon National Park in the Banten region of Java is one of the famous Indonesia Java International Destination. The structure of this park gives it an isolated look and it is present in the south western tip of Java. This park was open to public by the Dutch in the year of 1921 and it was constructed to protect the Javanese rhinoceros. Ujung Kulon National Park, an Indonesia Java International Destination spans over an area of 760 sq km and it also includes the island of Panaitan. This park is considered as one of the prominent places in Java for spotting wildlife. The park consists of many varieties of species of animals. Some of the varieties of animals found in this Ujung Kulon National Park are crocodiles, wild pigs, Javanese rhinoceros, birds, river otters, hornbills and deer. Though all animals can be seen while visiting the park the Javanese rhinoceros and crocodiles are a rare sight. It is preferable to visit the Ujung Kulon National Park between the months of April and October. Permit is required to visit the park and other details about the park can be obtained by visiting the Labuhan which provides all the information about the park and the required permit. Ujung Kulon National Park can be even reached by taking a boat service form Labuhan.
